Susie graduated from The British School of Osteopathy in 2014 with Distinction in an Integrated Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost).
Whilst training, she also qualified in medical acupuncture and completed her level 3 ITEC sports massage qualification. Since graduating, Susie has held the role of ‘Team Osteopath’ at Premiership Rugby club Harlequins, alongside doing regular, freelance soft tissue work for England RFU and various touring international and club teams.
Prior to studying osteopathy, Susie trained as a contemporary dancer and therefore has first-hand experience of how frustrating injuries can be, especially when they stop you from doing the things you enjoy. As a result, Susie strives to ensure patients have a good understanding of what is causing their pain, how treatment can help them and what they can do themselves to improve their symptoms and prevent reoccurrence. Her treatment approach combines a ‘hands-on’ structural approach with exercise therapy, dry needling and taping or strapping (when required), in order to relieve pain and restore patients back to their desired level of function.
Whilst Susie spends a lot of time working in a sports setting, she also enjoys and has extensive experience in treating people for everyday issues, including postural related muscle pain, sciatica, neck and back pain and pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain.
