What is a small group Pilates session?
Our small group Pilates session are coming soon. Each class is limited to a maximum of 5 participants, and is based on reformer machines. Small group sessions allow for a more personalised experience than a large class, as the instructor can provide individual attention, correct form, and offer modifications or progressions for each person. The focus is on controlled, precise movements to improve core strength, flexibility, posture, and body awareness. It’s a great option for people who want the benefit of an instructor’s guidance in a more affordable and intimate setting than a one-on-one session.
What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a form of Pilates that uses a Reformer machine. The Reformer is a bed-like frame with a sliding carriage, pulleys, and springs that provide adjustable resistance and allows for a wider range of exercises than traditional mat Pilates.
Reformer Pilates is known for providing a full-body, low-impact workout that builds strength, improves flexibility, enhances posture, and helps with balance.
